Activism took to the skies of Charlotte this morning, when Greenpeace launched their airship at Veterans Park. The airship is part of an ongoing effort to highlight Duke Energy’s use of dirty energy.
Attached to each side of the airship were banners reading “Don’t Raise Rates for Dirty Energy,” and “Cleaner is Cheaper.” Activists on the ground also laid out a message reading “We want affordable rates & clean air. Be a leader Duke.” Continue reading →
